I can't form words with my mouth.
My muscles clenching and unclenching in a shivering state of emotion.
I look up to you.
You who can stand in front of strangers and let everything out.
Let it roll of you like a wave trying to stand out.
Showing everyone exactly what you're about.
You see I know a girl inside of me.
She's not afraid of who she is, she's not afraid to be free.
I on the other hand, can't stand.
My body like a robot unmanned.
And I'm scared.
Because that's the friend that said she would always be there.
But now she's forgotten everything we ever shared.
And I'm alone, in this spotlight that's supposed to be home.
